Netherlands-born, Sheffield-based LIO creates alternative pop with a twist compared to the likes of Florence and the Machine and Daughter.

With her eclectic sound and powerful live performances, she has supported high-profile acts such as Orchards, Skinny Pelembe, Slow Club, Our Girl and While She Sleeps.

After having been shortlisted in BBC Introducing Sheffield’s ‘Top 50 Tracks of 2018’ and Unsigned Guide’s ‘Spotlight Artists January 2019’, she has enjoyed multiple festival appearances (Tramlines, Liverpool Sound City, Long Division, Y Not Festival), radio play (Amazing Radio, BBC Introducing Sheffield) and support from Higher Rhythm in collaboration with PRSF Open Fund, Help Musicians UK, Arts Council and OneFest.
