SAD MAN, music producer and artist Andrew Spackman, creates music full of complexity and confusion. Polyrhythmic pounding, noisy dissonance and delicate ambience, his music is difficult to pin down and categorise.

His music has been reviewed in Electronic Sound Magazine, Monolith Cocktail music blog, Mojo Magazine and the Wire Magazine.
He was recently commissioned to create a 15 minute musical composition in collaboration with Anna Palmer (Dorcha) and BBC Radio 3 DJ Nick Luscombe. (Creative Director - Musicity Global) for a large scale light installation that took place on NYE at Coventry Cathedral as a launch event for Coventry City of Culture 2021.
Andrew Spackman collaborated previously with Mark Springer from Rip Rig and Panic and has created remixes for Dorcha, Steeling Sheep, Vula Veil and the High Llamas.

As a visual artist he has previously exhibited at The Bangkok Arts and Cultural Centre; The Ethnographic Museum, Krakow; Aspex Gallery; The MAC, Birmingham; Herbert Art Gallery; BMAG, Birmingham and he was short listed for the 2012 Cultural Olympiad.
